Additional Race Details

FREE ON-SITE PARKING:

  • Limited parking is available behind City Hall and in adjacent lots within a block or two of Rodeo Park.
  • Please arrive early to allow extra time for parking.
  • Carpooling is highly recommended.

POST-RACE ACTIVITIES:

  • Free post-race refreshments for runners.
  • Entertainment.

RULES AND GUIDELINES FOR ALL ENTRANTS

  • No pets.
  • No unregistered runners, walkers, or pacers.
  • Wearing of headphones, ipods or Walkman-type radios is discouraged.
  • No strollers, baby joggers, inline skates, bicycles.
  • Race services are limited to a 2:45 finish time pace (a 12 mins.-30 sec. per mile pace).
  • No one other than the runner who officially registered may use the bib number and timing chip issued to that runner. Transferring and/or selling of these items is illegal.
  • Bib numbers must not be altered, should be worn on the front of the runner, and be clearly visible at all times.
  • Timing chip must be worn as follows:
    • Individual event runners: securely attached to the top of the shoe.
    • Relay runners: on the ankle using the strap provided, no higher than six inches from the ground.

RACE MANAGEMENT TEAM
John Mansoor, Greg Soderlund and Rich Hanna direct the Four Bridges Half Marathon. This unique partnership has brought together three race directors who produce some of the largest and finest events in the Sacramento area. Events directed by them include the California International Marathon, the Western States 100-Miler, and Run to Feed the Hungry. You can count on this event to be well organized and runner-friendly!
